Students complete 1.5 to 2 hours of online coursework, which is required before the in-person skills session. This course also leads to a 2-year certification through the American Red Cross and meets OSHA guidelines. All training materials are provided, and participants will receive an American Red Cross CPR keychain with a 1-way valve face shield and a pair of nitrile gloves for use in an emergency.

  • This course by the American Red Cross provides participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
