We offer on-site training for businesses and organizations. Training is provided through either a full instructor-led delivery, where all work is completed in class, or a blended delivery, where participants complete online coursework before attending an in-person skills session. All training materials are provided.

Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Course Objectives

The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This program offers a choice of first aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience. This course includes an Adult, Child, and Infant focus. 

Adult First Aid/CPR/AED

Course Objectives

The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This program offers a choice of first aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience. This course focuses on emergency response for Adults only.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare

Course Objectives

The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor-Led Training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest or respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction, opioid overdose or other life-threatening injury or illness. When a patient experiences a life-threatening emergency, healthcare providers need to act swiftly and promptly. The course emphasizes providing high-quality care and integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking and problem solving to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Bloodborne Pathogens

Course Objectives

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Training course is to teach participants how to protect themselves and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job, and what to do if an exposure occurs. The course content and activities will prepare participants to make appropriate decisions about preventing bloodborne pathogen disease transmission.

The Bloodborne Pathogens Training course is designed to assist employers with meeting the training mandate as stipulated in the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

Instructor First Aid/CPR/AED

Course Objectives

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course.

Babysitter Training

Course Objectives

This in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding diapering picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion.

Babysitter Training with
Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Course Objectives

Combines the course objectives for Babysitters Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, which include recognizing and responding to cardiac emergencies, performing CPR and using an AED, responding to sudden illnesses, and addressing injuries and environmental emergencies for children and infants. The Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED add-on certification is valid for 2 years. An Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED option is also available.
